I tifosi e la musica irlandese per il Celtic

Quando gioca il Celtic puoi sentir cantare canzoni come Grace che danno l’idea di come siano legati i tifosi e la musica irlandese.

Sono sicuramente decine gli esempi che potremmo portarvi di brani musicali dedicati all’Irlanda che vengono riprodotti dalla tifoseria cattolica di Glasgow, come The fields of Athenry o Roll of Honour, ma oggi ci fermiamo su questo.

Una canzone tristittima! Il brano parla di un matrimonio celbrato di fretta nella cappella di Kilmainham, in una progione, tra un condannato a morte e la sua donna. I due amanti non potranno consumare il loro amore, ma l’uomo afferma che sarà comunque felice di morire on l’anello al dito, cosi sarà legato per sempre alla sua Lei.
