Musica e calcio con Liam Gallagher e Damon Albarn

Vi proponiamo una bella foto di Liam Gallagher, ex Oasis,  e Damon Albarn dei Blur, fenomeni della musica che giocano a calcio.

Di Liam e del fratello Noel abbiamo parlato tanto sia per il loro amore per il pallone, che per il loro legame con il Manchester City che per il fatto che alcune tifoserie cantano le loro canzoni. Ma di Damon Albarn ancora non abbiamo parlato troppo…eppure è uno di quei personaggi fantastici oltre che musicista eccezionale. Ci promettiamo di dedicarli a breve un articolo.

Si tratta di un famossimo brano del 1995, nel periodo florido del britpop, contnueto nell’album The Great Escape. Il video è più famoso della canzone, dato che, sotto la regia di Jonathan Glazer, i Blur si rifanno esplicitamente ad Arancia Meccanica….e damon è un perfetto Alex! La copertina dell’album anche prende spunto da Stanley Kubrick e si rifà ad Odissea nello spazio.
