La tifoseria nerazzurra di Bergamo canta così, a fine della partita degli orobici allo stadio Atleti Azzurri d’Italia:

questo brano è stato già utilizzato da altre tifoseria per dei cori da stadio, ma la canzone della Curva Nord Bergamo ha delle parole a se..e poi, la tifoseria atalantina riesce ad esatlare sempre tutto, con la passione, facendo sempre di ogni cosa il miglior risultato.
Spirit in the sky è il titolo della traccia estratta per il 45 giri e dell’omonimo LP inciso da Norman Greenboum per l’etichetta musicale Reprise nel 1969. Il maggior successo, però, del brano è arrivato con la cover in salsa new-wave dei Doctor and the medics, glam rock band londinese, che hanno pubblicato il loro vinile nel 1986.
