I tifosi inglesi cantano Wonderwall, brano degli Oasis, sostenendo la nazionale dei Three Lions in trasferta in giro per il mondo.

E’uno degli esempi che meglio rende l’idea di quanto il calcio sia strettamente collegato con la musica, oltretutto parliamo di elite di qualità: il modello di tifo dei fan dell’Inghilterra è uno dei migliori al mondo ed i dischi dei fratelli Gallagher hanno fatto cantare ed innamorare generazioni di ragazzi dagli anni 90 ad oggi.
Ne avevamo già parlato, abbiamo voluto però omaggiare nuovamente questa canzone da stadio riproposta dagli inglesi ad Euro 2016.

Che coro! Le immagini sono relative agli europei di calcio di Francia 2016, girate a Marsiglia, la città sconvolta dagli scontri.

Ma il football non è solamente violenza, come vogliono farci credere ed i tifosi inglesi non sono tutti hooligan!
C’è anche un po’di romanticismo nel veder questi energumeni tatuati che mentre bevono litri di birra, con facce minacciose cantano Wonderwall.

Si tratta di una canzone tra e più apprezzate dal pubblico della band britpop, estratta come terzo singolo del disco Whar’s the story morning glory? inciso nel 1995 della Creation Record.
Premi e riconoscimenti per questo brano sono sempre pochi..oltretutto questa canzone ha anche una storia particolare perchè si collega ai Beatles, la band inglese per eccellenza, i migliori musicisti del mondo..dopo gli Oasis?
